Bid Coordinator
£18,000-£21,000 per annum
Major Technical are working in partnership with a Doncaster based business to recruit an experienced Bid Coordinator to join their sales team. This is a full time position offering a competitive salary and fantastic benefits on a permanent basis.
They are looking for candidates with previous Bid and tender process experience and have exposure to working under pressure. This is a fast paced role where accuracy and attention to detail are paramount.
Main Duties of the Bid Coordinator include:

· All aspects of sealed tender process - Expression of interest, pre-qualification questionnaire to tender.

· Private and public sector clients

· Maintaining a tender pipeline

· Ensuring all proposal documentation is prepared

· Generating action lists from tender meetings

· Submit company’s proposals for client consideration

· Expedite pending/win progress (analyse, report, identify market trends)

· Updating bids/sales database

· Maintain the bids libraries with response and support information

· Ad hoc support for incoming sales calls

To be considered for the role of Bid Coordinator role, you will have:

· Understand and have proven experience of the sales process and new sales leads

· Bid and tender experience

· Experience of using Microsoft (word, Excel, Power Point, Access)

· Experience with database packages

· Excellent telephone manner

· Excellent communication skills

· The ability to work to a high level of accuracy

· Organised way of working

· A positive and energetic attitude

· Self-motivated

· Confidence to communicate with Senior Buyers
