Major Recruitment are looking for a Sales Engineer in the Warrington area for a market leading manufacturer and supplier of Gas Safety, Detection & Air Quality Monitoring Systems, and due to growth, we are looking for an Internal Technical Sales Engineer to join our team.
The role encompasses a wide variety of duties, including:
- Providing customers with technical assistance, and aiding with the identification and rectification of any on site issues remotely
- Advising what equipment may be required for specific application
- Producing quotations either based on verbal requests or through interpretation of documentation and drawings supplied by customers
- Processing orders and liaising with production to ensure they can be efficiently fulfilled
- Providing support for the External Sales Engineers.
As our range of products are particularly niche full training will be provided, although experience in the controls/electrical industry would be beneficial. Any applicants must be well organised, confident and have a good attention to detail.
Applicants must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, and experience with Sage would be beneficial but not essential.
For the right candidate, there may be the opportunity to move into External Sales over time.
Office hours: 8am – 4pm, Mon – Fri (37.5h).
Based: Warrington (WA3).
Salary:
£23,000 per Annum.
