Major Recruitment are looking for a welder/fabricator to join a growing team in what is a very exciting time for this particular company.
Duties & Role Requirements –
- Fabricate and weld components as per technical engineering drawings
- Single and multi-run fillets, burning and grinding
- Use of hand tools
- Assessing which welding equipment is required and which method is the most appropriate for a specific welding task
- Inspecting welded surfaces and dressing them for the best finis
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and instruction
- An understanding of the properties of the materials you work with Inspecting finished work to verify that it meets specification
- Ensuring that safe work practices are followed and adhered to
Personal Requirements –

- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
Hours of work –
Monday – Thursday
07:30 to 16:00
Friday
08:00 – 12:00
Contracted hours are 36 hours per week
Overtime is paid at time and a half and Sunday overtime is paid at double time
