Role

Die casting is a metal casting process that is characterized by forcing molten metal under high pressure into a mould cavity. The mold cavity is created using two hardened tool steel dies which have been machined into shape and work similarly to an injection mold during the process. Most die castings are made from non-ferrous metals, specifically aluminium. Depending on the type of metal being cast, a hot- or cold-chamber machine is used.

Role

Aluminium castings are formed by pouring molten aluminium into castings to form the shape for the desired product, a finishing operative will use machines such as grinders to perfect the product for distribution.

Mot Tester

Our client an Independent Service and Mot centre is looking looking for a Mot Tester in KETTERING

Working in conjunction with the centre manager assistant manager and qualified motor trade technicians and the area manager to achieve targets and excel in customer service.

As an Mot Tester You will work with the team to maximise output through the workshop.

You will be working in the workshop servicing and carrying out mot’s if you have a mot card.

The business is open 6 days a week and the whole team works on a rota basis including Saturdays. Working a 5 day week having a day off in the week.

Motor trade experience is essential for this role and would suit someone with a Motor trade technician background. A technician that is looking to escape the dealer network politics.

Must hold a full uk driving licence, Level 3 certification and a MOT TESTER CARD IS A BIG ADVANTAGE

You will be rewarded with a basic salary which depends on experience UPTO £28000 plus bonus

Salary: £10.55 – £12.67 per hour

Overtime paid at 1.5x after 39 hours.

Role

To cut, punch and fold materials to the specification, drawings and instructions to produce quality products in line with the daily plan

Fabricate extruded and folded materials and bond weld using MIG or TIG processes to the specification, drawings and instructions to produce quality products in line with the daily plan.
