Brief:
– Position: HGV Class 1 & 2 Drivers
– Location: South-East Kent
– Shifts: Days, Evening, Nights & Weekend (Evening & Nights Preferred)
– Days & Hours: Mon – Sun
Rates of Pay:
– Class 1 Mon – Fri | Days £16.00 & Nights £18.00
– Class 1 Saturday | Days £19.50 & Nights £20.50
– Class 1 Sunday & Bank Holiday | Days & Nights £20.50
– Class 2 Mon – Fri | Days £12.90 & Nights £14.40
– Class 2 Saturday | Days & Nights £14.40
– Class 2 Sunday & Bank Holiday | Days & Nights £15.90
Induction:
– 20 Question Tacho Test
– Driving Assessment
– Site & SSOW Induction
Responsibilities & Requirements:
– Deliveries/hand ball/multi drop
– Use of PDA and body camera
– Ensuring that all vehicles driven comply with traffic regulations currently in force
– Immediate reporting of all accidents and defects to vehicle to the relevant authorities.
– Accurate and safe delivery of customers’ orders in accordance with delivery schedules
– LGV Licence held & experience of at least 1 year is essential
– Driver CPC & digitacho held & experience of at least 1 year is essential
– C+E Licence held & experience of at least 1 year is essential
