  1. Key Features
  • Delivering reports of department performance in provision of regular updates on vehicle statuses and job completions to the Maintenance Support Manager, and alerting the Maintenance Support Manager of any issues that arise
  • Supporting the Rental Operations team in their local VOR management with recording and presentation of information
  • Reducing the fleet VOR and vehicle downtime to best support the rental operation in provision of rentable vehicles
  • Liaising with manufacturers, dealers, and suppliers
  • Obtaining updates, escalating issues, challenging costs, and potential delays
  • Managing compensation claims, raising invoices, and issuing order numbers
  • Attending update meetings with management and suppliers as required, either online or in person
  • Maintaining a high standard of administration to efficiently and professionally compile and present data, especially regarding the reporting on agreed KPIs to managers and colleagues
  • Drafting specific reports, letters, and emails for both internal purposes and to suppliers and customers
  • Maintaining up-to-date records on the maintenance and rental system, which is integral to the rental operation
  • Maintaining the ability to work efficiently and flexibly as part of team in a fast-paced environment
  • Any other duties as requested by the Maintenance Support Manager or Engineering Manager

This role profile is not exhaustive and is subject to review in conjunction with the post-holder and according to the future challenges/developments in the Company.

  1. Skills, Knowledge and Experience
  • The job holder must hold a full, valid UK driving licence
  • Excellent administration skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experienced in using Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel
  • The ability to prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently
  • Previous experience of the transport or automotive industry would be an advantage
