Major Recruitment are currently seeking a Payroll Assistant for our client based in the Huddersfield area. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast paced growing company that are experiencing exceptional growth and are now looking to strengthen their payroll team and ideally someone with experience of working within an office environment, ideally some payroll experience is required but not essential.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with the processing of high volume weekly payroll
  • Processing holiday requests and holiday pay for all employees
  • Processing of weekly timesheets
  • Maintaining accurate records
  • Using a bespoke CRM system ensuring all data is correct
  • Processing deductions in accordance with HMRC legislation
  • Adhering to all policies and procedures
  • Answering any queries
  • Adhering to GDPR
  • Other duties that may arise within the department

  • Familiar with payroll software

Working Monday to Friday 37.5hrs

Start and finish times are flexible between 7.30am and 5pm
