Major Recruitment are currently seeking a telemarketing excutiove for our client in the brighouse area, this is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a fast growing and market leader comany within their feild

Main Duties

  • The job holder will be reporting to the Sales Manager and working closely with Area Sales Executives with the objective of expanding the rental business for municipal and warehouse cleaning equipment
  • Maintaining regular contact with the Sales Manager and Area Sales Executives, ensuring that sales efforts are directed in accordance with Company sales plans
  • The job holder will be acting on their own initiative in researching information on potential customers. This will be achieved through sightings, trade publications, historical data, past contracts, industry knowledge, newspapers, business/telephone directories, monitoring existing customers usage and own contacts
  • Making appointments for the Area Sales Executives to visit potential renters, especially within the municipal and industrial sector, keeping accurate sales records of follow up visits and current business situation
  • Establishing regular contact with decision makers, within the city, county and borough councils to optimise every opportunity to win the business
  • Following up enquiries for new rental business
  • Remaining constantly aware of opportunities to sell second-hand equipment
  • Keeping in close contact with business activities, with regards to new business or customer complaints and provide assistance where necessary
  • Ensuring that specific sales targets are achieved within time limits to contribute to the overall departmental success
  • Completing all administration accurately and effectively and producing reports for the Sales Manager
  • Building and maintaining good relationships with internal staff and customers, informing them of changes and developments in the Company’s products and services
  • Maintaining an awareness of trade and field situations and ensure appropriate action to meet changing circumstances to ensure the Company maintains its overall high market position

Knowledge and Experience

  • Proven telesales/telemarketing background
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a high level of personal presentation
  • Knowledge of the municipal and plant sales industry would be advantageous
  • Experience of using CRM systems would be advantageous
  • High level of verbal communication skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Ability to meet weekly & monthly targets
  • Ability to communicate with decision makers and influencers
