Our client is a well-established and growing business specialising in design, manufacture and installation
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys bespoke work, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and thrives in a fast-paced project environment where no two builds are the same. Working from a busy and well-equipped workshop, you will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality exhibition and event structures, working from technical drawings and production briefs to deliver projects to demanding deadlines.
Key Responsibilities

Manufacturing bespoke exhibition stands, activation structures and display elements

Reading and interpreting technical drawings and production briefs

Cutting, assembling and finishing timber-based components

Working with laminates, trims, sheet materials and specialist finishes

Collaborating with production, graphics, finishing and installation teams

Maintaining high standards of workmanship, organisation and workshop safety

Supporting occasional on-site installations when required
What We’re Looking For
Essential
-
Proven experience as a Bench Joiner, Workshop Joiner or Carpenter
-
Strong woodworking and assembly skills
- Full UK driving licence

Confidence using workshop machinery and hand tools safely

Ability to work accurately from drawings and specifications
-
Excellent attention to detail and quality of finish

Positive attitude, reliability and strong work ethic

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Desirable
-
Experience within exhibitions, events, shopfitting, set-build or bespoke joinery
-
Experience working with laminates and exhibition-grade finishes
-
CSCS card
-
Forklift licence
-
Previous experience supporting site installations
