Major Recruitment are currently recruiting for a CNC Operator on a permanent basis to join a well-established manufacturing company based at their plant in Darlaston, West Midlands.
The CNC Operator will support the recent acquisition for 5 axis machinery, the role will be located within a state of the art machining facility which has been the recipient of substantial investment over recent years.
Duties & responsibilities of the role:
- Operate CNC 3 and 5 axis machine
- Read engineering drawings
- Be able to probram and work with minimal supervision
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
Candidate specification:
- Knowledge of Edgecam/Hypermill preferable however, knowledge of other program writing software will be acceptable
- Experience in following Standard Operating Procedures and reading engineering diagrams
- 2, 3 & 5 axis machining experience is a necessity
- Direct experience of working with Hurco & Mazak would be beneficial
- At lease 10 years machining experience
