ABOUT THE COMPANY
Our client is a National Distributor of timber based in the heart of Leeds and is rapidly expanding.
They manufacture and distribute high quality products across the UK and Ireland and are looking to add a Counterbalance driver on the night shift.
THE ROLE
The role is a temp to perm role which means if you are successful during your placement, you will be offered a permanent contract within the company.
Your daily tasks will consist of driving the Counterbalance truck, picking timbers and Hand balling.
Full training will be given during your assignment.
THE PROCESS
If you are able to commit to the shift pattern for this role (including weekends) please be advised the process is;
Registration – You must register online with Major Recruitment uploading all your documents and a CV.
Interview at our office – To go over the role in more detail and the company.
A site tour – to look at the products and meet the team and have an informal chat.
Site induction – This is a Health and Safety Induction that lasts up to 3 hours.
FLT TEST – You will be asked to drive the Counterbalance truck to show your capabilities due to the Health and Safety aspects of the role.
If the Induction and FLT testis passed you will be offered a start date and commence your 12-week temp to perm placement.
Once a permanent contract is offered you will benefit from
£25,000 per annum plus the night shift increment of £3792
3 bonuses a year
