Position – Deputy Manager
Location – Westgate-on-Sea
Salary – £23,000 per annum
Hours – 42 hours per week (the shift pattern is 7:30am to 21:30pm usually with 20 hours of supernumerary per week which will be on a 8pm to 6am time slot 2 days per week)

About the Service – This service supports adults who have a range of diverse needs such as learning disabilities, complex needs, dementia and challenging behaviour. The service supports up to 14 service users and provides 24 hour support.
Duties – The purpose of this role is to support the Service Manager by ensuring the day to day supervision and management of the service. In their absence, you will be responsible for the running of the service which will include managing the service users. Duties will include: rota planning, recruitment, contributing to assessment, facilitating staff meetings, planning support for people, ensuring compliance with good practice guidelines, reporting of risks, facilitating annual reviews, etc.
Experience – The ideal candidate will have some form of management experience within a similar setting. Ideally, you will have experience of running a service in the manager’s absence.
