We’re recruiting for dedicated individuals to work with 7.5T drivers carrying out home deliveries of furniture, working out of a clients site in Sheffield. This ongoing position offers the potential for a permanent role in the future.
PAYE Pay Rate for the Drivers Mate:
- £11.44 per hour
Responsibilities for the Drivers Mate:
- Working as a team with a 7.5T Driver to carry out the deliveries
- Completing home deliveries of furniture (15-30 drops per day, depending on location of deliveries)
- Logging all deliveries on a mobile POD device
Hours for the Drivers Mate:
- Start times are approximately 04:30
- A mixture of the below shift patterns on a rolling rota:
- Monday to Thursday
- Wednesday to Saturday
- Monday, Tuesday, Friday & Saturday
Requirements for the Drivers Mate:
- Ability to use a mobile POD device
- Completion of a 3 day paid induction
