Title – Factory Operative

Salary – £13.23ph

Location – Doncaster

Role – Temporary Initially

Working Hours – 8.30am-5pm Mon-Fri

This is an exciting opportunity for the successful Factory Operative to work with a long-established supplier on the outskirts of Doncaster, due to the company experiencing a period of seasonal growth they are looking to add to the existing team where duties will include:

Prepare products from specifications on batch sheets, sign batch sheets to confirm completion.
Mix products as per specifications.
Weigh products, transfer product into tins and label tins
Ensure all product labelled correctly conducting visual checks of information.
Refill drums when required.
Transfer drums by use of forklift truck in storage area
Ensure minimal downtime during changeovers.
To pack product into boxes and add any additional items as per product specification.
To move empty pallets around warehouse and bring pallets to line ready for loading with use of hand pump truck.
To shrink wrap pallets ready for distribution
Transfer product to storage shelves in specified locations
To empty bins, keep work area clean and tidy and adopt a clean as you go policy.
To achieve the targets and job standards set out by supervisors/managers.
To be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work
To perform any reasonable request from Managers/supervisor/Directors
To work flexibly across other areas of the business on different tasks when the business requires

It is expected that the successful Factory Operative will have experience of working in a similar role, working in a yard or similar outdoor environment or physical position, have a strong understanding of all Microsoft office packages, intermediate excel knowledge, be confident in managing multiple priorities whilst working with accuracy and with own initiative.
