Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Driver to join our client team in the transportation department. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials efficiently and safely to designated locations.
Duties:
– Load and unload goods from vehicles in a safe and organised manner
– Perform basic equipment repairs and maintenance as needed
– Handle materials with care to prevent damage during transportation
– Utilise basic maths skills for inventory tracking and documentation
– Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment proficiently
– Manage warehouse systems effectively for inventory control
– Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues
– Handle shipping and receiving tasks accurately
– Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
– Engage in heavy lifting activities as required
Skills:
– Proficient in handling materials and operating forklifts
– Experience in warehouse management systems is advantageous
– Strong mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle repairs
– Ability to manage shipping, receiving, and warehouse tasks efficiently
– Capable of heavy lifting and physical work
Working Monay to Friday Nights 1800-0600
