We are looking for Hire Desk Assistant to join a National truck and trailer organisation in Newcastle upon Tyne. It is Full-time, Permanent role.

This is a great opportunity to join a company with high values ​​and a commitment to be sustainable. The successful candidate will provide a complete administrative support to the Branch, while ensuring a high level of customer service.

You will provide:

  • Administrative support to the branch, ensuring a high level of customer service is achieved and maintained.
  • Performing regular audits, to check that rental compliance documentation, customers’ insurance and fuel receipts are all present and correctly logged.
  • Acting as receptionist for Company personnel, drivers and customers who attend the site.
  • Raise invoices to customers and update sales folders, quotation files, and customer rates on system

You’ll have:

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Good administration and organisational skills
  • Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Knowledge of the vehicle rental industry as well as vehicle maintenance would be advantageous
