CareEd Recruitment is working with a specialist education provider that supports children and young people aged 7-19 who may have become disengaged from learning or found mainstream education difficult.
We’re looking for an inspiring Lead Science Teacher who can do more than simply deliver the curriculum.
This is an opportunity to help young people rediscover confidence, curiosity and a belief in what they can achieve.
You’ll teach across a range of personalised settings, including one-to-one sessions, small groups and vocational environments, while also taking on a wider leadership role across the organisation.
Alongside your teaching responsibilities, you’ll help shape and develop the Science curriculum, support and coach colleagues, contribute to quality assurance and work with leaders to drive meaningful improvements in teaching and learning.
You’ll also receive dedicated weekly release time to focus on your leadership responsibilities, with strong support and opportunities to collaborate with other curriculum leaders.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Strong Science curriculum knowledge
- Experience of developing and improving teaching and learning
- SEN experience ideally
- A genuine passion for helping young people re-engage with education
You’ll also need a full driving licence and access to a vehicle, as travel between sites forms part of the role.
