National Account Manager
Major Recruitment have a brilliant opportunity for a National Account Manager to join a large Food Manufacturing company based in Leeds.
As a National Account Manager, you will manage current customer relationships to deliver budgeted volume, revenue, and margin.
As a National Account Manager, you will:
- Identify and unlock new opportunities in line with business strategies
- Deliver budgeted financials across brand and own label
- Develop compelling business plans for assigned customers
- Build strong relationships with key accounts
- Develop and implement annual account plans to achieve sales and contribution targets
- Analyse sales data to identify opportunities and develop insights to drive growth
- Forecasting monthly, quarterly, and annually
- Monitor sales targets and create opportunities to close gaps
- Monitor competitor activity to evolve trade plans
- Work collaboratively with the wider team, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention in addition to account growth
Skills required as a National Account Manager:
- Previous experience of managing accounts
- Previous experience in an FMCG environment
- P&L experience and understanding of JBPs
- Previous experience as an Account Manager/Executive
- Good understanding of data provided by Nielsen and Kantar
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- IT literate, able to work confidently with Microsoft Office (e-mail, Word, Excel, etc).
- Great organisation, deadline management and attention to detail skills
