Shift Hours: 4 on, 4 off – 2 days (6:00 am – 6:00 pm) and 2 nights (6:00 pm – 6:00 am)
Salary: £11.20 per hour, PLUS 20% shift allowance

As a Packaging Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the continuous operation of our Packaging Machines, maintaining the high-quality standards of our products, and fostering a safe and efficient workplace.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain Continuous Machine Operation: You will be responsible for ensuring that our Packaging Machines run without interruption, contributing to the seamless production process.

Product Changeovers: Facilitate product changeovers, including the loading of polyethylene reels, to ensure smooth transitions between different products.

Log Saw Operation: Be in charge of the effective running of the log saw when required, ensuring it functions at its best.

Machine Troubleshooting: Interact with the machines to solve minor issues and breakdowns, leading to enhanced machine productivity and minimizing downtime.

Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks on productions when required and promptly report any faults to the relevant personnel to maintain our high product quality standards.

Maintenance and Adjustments: Perform small maintenance activities and adjustments to ensure machines and equipment operate efficiently.

Team Support: Support your colleagues when needed and oversee the end-line process as required to keep production running smoothly.

Housekeeping: Maintain a high level of housekeeping in the working area throughout your shift to ensure a clean and organized workspace.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety rules and guidelines to guarantee a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Additional Skills/Requirements:

Previous experience working in a production/manufacturing environment is necessary.
