Your duties will include but not be limited to the following.
- Experience with estimating panel build time and costs would be a distinct advantage.
- Experience with keeping parts in stock up to date and producing lists to re order parts.
- Ability to be flexible and to possibly go out on site for completing retrofit work on projects.
- Wiring and assembly of components for industrial machinery up to control cabinets and panels.
- Crimping, routing and cable terminating work on control panels.
- Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and schematic wiring accordingly.
- Mechanical assembly.
- Electrical assembly.
- Use of hand tools.
The Candidate
To be successful in the role of Panel Wirer you will have the following.
- Experience with point-to-point wiring.
- Cable end termination experience (Crimping/soldering)
- Control panel wiring experience.
- Cable routing.
- Experience of electrical assembling and wiring of control panels.
- Ability to act as a stand-alone operator on any given project.
The following experience is desirable but not essential.
- Prototype and development wiring experience.
- Basic testing experience.
