Major Recruitment Oldbury are delighted to be recruiting for the head office of a national distribution organisation who are located in Towcester Northampton and seeking a Payroll and HR Administrator to start immediately. The role will be between 25-30 hours per week to be taken between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday.

Please note this role will be office based and IS NOT a hybrid or remote working role

Duties and tasks will include:

  • To process the Group payrolls as directed by the HR and Payroll Manager
  • The ability to calculate gross to net and grossed up net payments
  • To ensure high standards of accuracy and service is maintained
  • Administration of Tax Year End documentation including P60’s & P11D’s, for all payrolls
  • To deduct/pay SSP, SMP, PPP, Tax Credits, Student Loans, Community Charge and Court Orders, in line with current legislation
  • To maintain and enhance the Company’s reputation and integrity by ensuring that no employee is paid below the minimum wage. Hours worked are as reflected in the current Working Time Directive

Candidates welcome to apply for the role will have the following:

  • Payroll experience, ideally using Sage 50
  • HR experience is preferred, however not essential
  • Administration experience
  • Be local to Towcester or have own transport due to rural location
