Planning Manager
We are looking for an experienced Planning Manager to lead a team that creates optimised planning/scheduling of process materials, and organise production requirements efficiently in line with our customers needs.

Operations
- To provide interface between Operations and Commercial teams
- To maintain accurate Promotion Calendars and forecasts
- To provide forecast interpretation: production schedules, factory loading, MRP, inventory projections
- To balance factory capacity and demand
- To manage material ordering schedules and inventory control
- To support and deliver New Product Development projects
- To challenge operational performance
- To facilitate delivery of Projects and Engineering shutdowns
- To manage and develop teams through PDMs and coaching
- To optimise production planning and scheduling
- To establish a lean and agile Supply Chain through CI projects
- To promote development of systems through use of SAP and Arolink
- To promote collaborative planning with suppliers
- To satisfy abnormal demand / supply associated with Bank Holidays and planned shutdowns at site and at suppliers
Skills & Knowledge
- Experienced user of SAP & Arolink
- Attendance and completion of Building Winning Teams programmes as required
- Previous Planning & Scheduling experience (Essential)
- Previous Capacity Planning experience (Essential)
- Previous MRP, Purchasing or Stock Control experience (Desirable)
- Project Management experience
- Organisational ability
- Supplier- and customer-facing experience
- Strong influence and communication skills
