Major Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Robot Welding Operator to join our busy manufacturing team based in Halifax, West Yorkshire
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating robotic welding machines safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading metal components into welding fixtures
- Monitoring welding processes and checking weld quality
- Carrying out visual inspections on finished products
- Reporting faults, defects, or machine issues to supervisors
- Performing basic machine adjustments and routine maintenance checks
- Reading and following engineering drawings and production instructions
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
- Following all health and safety procedures at all times
- Working as part of a team to meet production deadlines
Requirements:
- Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred
- Experience operating robotic welding equipment advantageous
- Good attention to detail and quality standards
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible towards overtime and shift work if required
We are looking for
1 x AM shift – 6am to 2pm
1 x PM shift – 2pm to 10pm
