Position – Team Leader

Location – Harrow, Greater London

Salary – up to £23,400 per annum

Hours – 37.5 hours per week (shifts are across a 7 day rota and the patterns are 07:00 – 15:00 and 15:00 – 22:00 (and sleep ins as required)

About the service – This an adults service who have moderate learning disabilities, downs syndrome and can be verbally challenging

Duties- The purpose of the role is to support the service manager in managing the team of support workers so that they deliver high quality care. You will be required to supervise the team. Duties will include: assisting with the rota, supporting the service users including personal care, hosting regular team meetings, liaising with family members and external professionals, reviewing and updating care plans, etc.

Type of person required – The successful candidate will be eager to help support adults with learning disabilities and have a positive can-do attitude.

Experience – The ideal candidate will have experience of managing a small team within a similar setting. You will also have experience of supporting adults within a community setting. It is essential that you can drive with access to your own car.
