Due to an increase in workload, we are seeking experienced Vehicle Technicians to join our team on a long-term ongoing basis. Position Overview: As a Vehicle Technician, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for performing repairs on vehicles using industry-leading techniques. From efficiently diagnosing faults to ensuring adherence to manufacturer repair instructions, you’ll play a crucial role in delivering top-notch service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform vehicle repairs using best practice techniques, adhering to BMW approved repair methods and guidelines.
- Diagnose faults efficiently and work within set manufacturer repair times.
- Ensure accurate timekeeping and proper documentation of job clocking.
- Prioritize and complete vehicles indicated as high priority for bookings.
- Utilize materials and consumables in a cost-effective manner, contributing to efficient operations.
Qualifications:
- Level 3 City and Guilds qualification or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the motor trade.
- Possession of a valid full driving license.
- Strong team player with excellent timekeeping skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
Pay Rate:
£14.00 – £17.70 per hour
Depending on experience and certified skill level.
