Warehouse Operative (Bendi Forklift Licence)

Salary: £27,500 per annum

Major Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a leading global logistics and freight forwarding client for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join their brand-new facility in Coalville.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established international business that provides end-to-end supply chain solutions across multiple global markets. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring warehouse operations run smoothly while delivering outstanding service to customers.
The Role
This is a hands-on warehouse position focused on efficient warehouse operations, including container and trailer loading and unloading, stock handling, and warehouse administration. You will support daily operations while helping to ensure customer expectations are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete end-to-end warehousing activities
- Load and unload containers and trailers safely and efficiently
- Operate warehouse management systems and scanning equipment
- Use systems such as Cargowise, WMS, SMS and Microsoft Office as required
- Complete internal and customer-specific reports within deadlines
- Carry out warehouse administration duties
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, cleanliness and safety
- Support supervisors and wider operational teams when required
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ warehouse experience
- Valid Bendi, Flexi or Pivot Steer Forklift Licence (essential)
- Good operational and warehouse knowledge
- GCSE/O-Level education or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to health and safety
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work effectively as part of a team
Working Hours
Alternating weekly shifts:
- 6:00am to 3:00pm
- 9:00am to 6:00pm
Monday to Friday only.
