We are looking for experienced Support workers who have a experience working with children,
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality 1:1 support tailored to the child’s individual care plan.
- Build consistent, trusting relationships that promote safety, stability, and recovery.
- Support children with daily routines, education, social activities, and community engagement.
- Implement therapeutic strategies and behaviour support plans in line with trauma-informed practice.
- Work closely with therapists, social workers, schools, and families as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Provide accurate record-keeping, incident reports, and safeguarding documentation.
- Manage challenging behaviour safely using positive behaviour support and de-escalation techniques.
- Act as a positive role model, promoting self-esteem, independence, and healthy boundaries
Requirements
- Experience supporting children/young people with complex needs, EBD, SEN, or trauma (essential).
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection legislation.
- Understanding of therapeutic, trauma-informed, or attachment-based care models.
- Strong communication, patience, and resilience under pressure.
- Ability to work flexibly across shift patterns, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins (if required).
- Enhanced DBS check (required).
- Relevant training (Team Teach, PRICE, PBM, safeguarding) Full training availble.

Hours of work
12 hour days and nights with some sleep-in, sleep in will be paid additional to the hourly rate.
