Major Healthcare are currently seeking experienced Registered Nurses to cover shifts in Care Homes throughout Teesside and County Durham. Whether you’re looking for full-time hours or occasional shifts we have day and night positions available to suit your requirements.
Your main duties will include:
- Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents
- Supervising and supporting a team of healthcare assistants
- Administering medication safely and accurately
- Managing medication stock levels ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately
- Liaising with GPs, families and other healthcare professionals
- Responding promptly and effectively to emergencies
- Reviewing and updating care plans to reflect the residents’ needs
We are looking for staff who have the following skills and experience:
- At least 6 months experience of working in Care Homes or Hospitals
- Valid NMC Registration
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
- Excellent communication skills
- A genuine passion for providing high-quality person-centred care
