We are currently working on behalf of a social housing provider to recruit for a Security and Engineering Manager on an interim basis. You will oversee all engineering and security installations, repairs and maintenance for their properties.
Responsibilities of the Security & Engineering Manager:
- Managing the security systems engineers and subcontractors
- Acting as lead maintenance manager for BAFE SP203-1
- Keeping up to date records on all work undertaken for the management of security, fire and access systems
- Ensuring prompt payments of services
- Ensuring all H&S requirements are met
- Producing regular reports
- Carrying out regular site audits
- Carrying out team meetings and toolbox talks
Essential criteria of the Security & Engineering Manager:
- Experience and knowledge of intruder, fire and door access security systems
- Experience of managing several workstreams / security engineering projects
- UK Driving license
- Knowledge, experience and understanding of the maintenance of non-domestic Fire Detection and Fire Alarm Systems.
- Qualification in BS 5839-1 and BAFE SP203-1 with maintenance content (Level 3 or higher) or be willing to work towards
