We are seeking a professional Class 2 (Cat C) Driver for a consistent, ongoing contract in Salford. This role is perfect for a reliable driver who takes pride in vehicle care and customer service.
The Role
Pay Rate: £18.00 per hour (LTD)
Start Time: 08:00 AM (Monday – Friday)
Vehicle: 18T Curtain-Sided Trailer
Workload: 8-10 multi-drop deliveries per day
Location: Salford
Key Responsibilities
Tail Lift Operation: Safely operating the tail lift and pallet truck to complete street-level deliveries.
Curtain Side Management: Efficiently opening and securing curtains for side-loading/unloading.
Route Planning: Navigating 8-10 drops across the North West while maintaining a professional schedule.
Safety First: Conducting daily walk-around checks and ensuring all loads are securely restrained.
Candidate Requirements
Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) license, CPC, and Digital Tachograph card.
Proven experience with tail lift operations and multi-drop environments.
Maximum 6 points (No DD, DR, or IN endorsements).
Physically fit and capable of managing palletised goods.
