Fabricator Welder (MIG / TIG) – Permanent, Full-Time
£15.50-£16.00 per hour | 37.5 hours per week | Stable, long-term role
We are currently recruiting an experienced Fabricator Welder to join our clients well-established and growing manufacturing business working on high-quality, precision-engineered components. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity offering consistent hours, interesting projects, and a supportive team environment.
You’ll be working with MIG and TIG welding, fabricating to tight tolerances and interpreting detailed engineering drawings and working with a variety of one-off systems as well as mass-produced components.
Key Responsibilities
* Fabricate and weld metal components to exact specifications and tolerances
* Carry out MIG and TIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, and copper where required
* Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics
* Use precision measuring tools including calipers and micrometers
* Safely set up and operate equipment, including cranes and rigging where required
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as a Fabricator Welder / Welder Fabricator
* Confident using MIG and TIG welding processes
* Strong ability to read and work from technical drawings
* Experience with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment
* Good mechanical aptitude and basic maths skills
* Forklift or material handling experience is an advantage (training available)
* Reliable, team-focused, and quality-driven approach to work
