Teletruck / Forklift Operator (3.5T) – Full Time
Major Recruitment are hiring on behalf of our client for an experienced 3.5T Teletruck/Forklift Operator to join a busy recycling and waste management site.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and motivated individual with previous experience operating forklifts in an industrial or warehouse environment.
The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a teletruck/forklift to move, load, and relocate materials across the site. Duties will include handling baled materials, emptying tipping skips, and supporting general yard operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate a 3.5T Teletruck/Forklift safely and efficiently

Load and unload materials onto and off vehicles

Transport and stack materials around the site

Empty tipping skips and assist with yard organisation

Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects or malfunctions

Follow all site health & safety procedures at all times

Maintain accurate records where required

Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth site operations
Requirements:

Valid and in-date forklift/teletruck licence (essential)

Previous experience operating forklifts in an industrial, recycling, or warehouse setting

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-
Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy materials when required

Strong awareness of health & safety regulations
-
Flexible attitude with weekend availability
