  • Respond rapidly to breakdowns and restore equipment to full operation
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using structured fault-finding techniques
  • Maintain and repair industrial refrigeration and freezing systems
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and improve efficiency
  • Assist with installation, commissioning and modification of new equipment
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP and BRCGS standards
  • Carry out general site and facilities maintenance as required
  • Work closely with production teams to minimise disruption and maintain output
  • Support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent repeat failures

About You:

This role suits an engineer who is confident working in a fast-moving production environment and enjoys varied technical challenges across both mechanical and electrical systems.

You will ideally have:

  • Minimum 5 years’ maintenance engineering experience
  • Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
