Major Recruitment are recruiting FLT Counterbalance Drivers for our client based in Royton, Oldham.
A valid FLT Counterbalance Licence is essential to be considered for the role. Unfortunately we are unable to accept in house licences.
We are recruiting across rotating shifts (6am – 2pm / 2pm – 10pm) and fixed nights 10pm – 6am Monday to Friday.
General duties:
- Working in a busy warehouse environment
- Operating a Counterbalance FLT
- Loading and unloading
- Moving stock around the site
- General warehouse duties
- Manual handling
- Heavy lifting
- Adhering to site health and safety
Rotating Shifts
Pay Rate: £14.36 per hour
Working hours: 6am – 2pm / 2pm – 10pm Monday to Friday (rotating weekly)
Fixed Night Shift
Pay Rate: £16.36 per hour
Working hours: 10pm – 6am Monday to Friday (fixed shift)
Pay will also be increased upon completion of additional FLT training, such as VNA, Reach, Bendi etc
Requirements
- Valid FLT Certificate (external accredited license required – in-house licenses cannot be accepted)
- Previous FLT Counterbalance experience
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
Training & Site Requirements
- 2-3 weeks training on the 6:00am – 2:00pm shift before moving onto your allocated shift pattern
- Full medical assessment required prior to starting
- Drug testing
- No smoking policy on site
- Mobile phones are not permitted on the shop floor
