All about Temp Work

Are you looking to earn a weekly wage? Perhaps you’re getting started in a new career and need some experience? Maybe you’re looking for some seasonal work whilst you’ve got a bit of time on your hands? Temporary work could be exactly what you need.

Is temporary work for me?

There’s many reasons to apply for temporary work, here’s the key ones you should know about:

  1. Weekly pay – A huge benefit of working with us is our weekly pay structure. We securely BACS pay all of our candidates on a Friday, including any overtime hours you may have done.
  2. Gain experience – Working as a temp you’ll have access to loads of different opportunities with different companies. Grow your industry knowledge, add skills to your CV and boost your employability by temping with us.
  3. Temp-to-perm opportunities – Our clients sometimes decide to take on the temporary worker full time, so starting out as a temp and showing them what you can do is a brilliant way to land a permanent position. If you’re aiming to go temp-to-perm, lets us know and we’ll do everything we can to help!
  4. Seasonal / flexible Work – No long-term commitments or ties. You can work when you want, for as long as you want, then go back to do your other commitments. For students, why not work around your timetable?
  5. Grow your network – Temping is a great way to meet new people in your industry. Each company you work for is an opportunity to grow your network, get your name out there and build relationships with various employers.
  6. Work / life balance – You’ve got the freedom to choose what hours you work, so temp work tends to have a better work / life balance.
