Email Marketing Executive

Overview

This is an exciting role and fantastic opportunity to join a successful team who market to numerous industries across the world. Job Purpose

Assist in the co-ordination and execution of both tactical and strategic email marketing campaigns throughout our global market via direct and distribution channels. Monitor performance of email campaigns with analytics and insights. Maintain the brands’ websites and content management.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of integrated global email marketing campaigns from initial concept through to completion
  • Carry out AB testing to analyse and identify the most successful campaigns to improve key email metrics and find the most effective methods
  • Run email marketing campaigns from CRM data segmentation, set-up, schedule, test, tag, and deployment of triggered campaigns in a marketing automation platform
  • Build, test and troubleshoot HTML email campaigns
  • Create and manage triggered campaigns, automated email journeys and behaviour-based communications, to deliver the best message at the right time within the customer journey
  • Ensure email activity drives customer acquisition, conversion, and retention
  • Monitor performance of campaigns through analytics and insights and make recommendations of improvement to senior management
  • Undertake copywriting and content creation for email campaigns and other deliverables
  • Work alongside distributors and the marketing manager with marketing planning and support as necessary
  • Website content and maintenance
  • Develop a sound understanding of the market, competitors, and consumers, and to use this to continually improve the marketing activity
  • Monitor the media and trade publications for opportunities

Experience, Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications

  • Skilled in segmentation and automation
  • MailChimp or equivalent and HTML expertise, WordPress and Adobe an advantage
  • Degree qualified in Marketing or Business
  • Demonstrable experience in an email marketing for 2+ years and marketing for 3+ years

Controls Engineer

An Electronics / Control Systems Engineer is sought by an Engineering company in the Washington area

Working with the Technical Director you will work on the design of electronic components and controls systems for specialist production machinery. You will work with and programme a wide range of control systems including PLCs, servos and vision systems. You will also produce schematics and layouts and work with installation and build teams to ensure they are assembled correctly. You will also fault find, repair and commission equipment when needed both in the workshop and on-site. In addition to this you will work with suppliers and customers to ensure completed systems meet customer specifications.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and experience

  • HNC / Degree in electrical / electronic engineering
  • A high level of computer literacy
  • Experience programming PLCs
  • Experience in Lenze and Mitsubishi PLC

NPI Project Engineer

A Project Engineer with a background in NPI Projects and Manufacturing Engineering is sought by a growing manufacturing company in the Tyneside area.

The role will be responsible for NPI Engineering tasks as allocated by the NPI Director, including the management and implementation of selected Improvement projects relating to New Product Introduction, Production processes and Machinery. Duties will also include

  • Working with the business development and product design teams to determine suitable manufacturing processes.
  • Control and implementation of engineering change requests, participate in project reviews and manage projects where required.
  • Responsibility for the evaluation, introduction and proving of new methods.
  • Specify, evaluate and recommend machinery & equipment for new processes
  • Develop new processes to improve quality, cost, delivery, environment
  • Prepare training packages and instruct personnel in the use of new equipment, methods or systems.
  • The creation and control of master data within the MRP system, including materials, BOMs and Routes

The successful candidate will ideally have a HND / Degree, in an Engineering discipline with experience of working within a change-led manufacturing environment. Certification to Six Sigma Green Belt level is also needed. Good project management skills are essential as you will often have short-lead times to implement process changes. The ability to lead and manage manufacturing change is essential as are strong communication and interpersonal skills and a good attention to detail.

Principal Power Electronics Engineer

A Principal Power Electronics Engineer is sought by an innovative class-leading Engineering company to lead a multi skilled power electronics design team

YOUR NEW JOB

Reporting to the Chief Engineer you will manage the design and delivery of industry leading power electronics equipment. Key duties will include:-

  • Defining and modelling the product system in line with the customer requirements to ensure the design meets all requirements and is stable in all operating conditions
  • Define and produce the system functional description for the design to disseminate the requirements to the rest of the technical team and to ensure customer acceptance of the design is achieved at the earliest opportunity.
  • Work closely with the project manager to ensure that the project execution is approached in the most efficient and risk reduced manner.
  • Define, control and monitor the technical work packages allocated to the project delivery team.
  • Schedule and chair design reviews of all project sub systems to ensure compliance with the technical requirements, product safety, risk (programme and technical), cost and manufacturability.
  • Attend and present design review materials at the customer premises (as necessary).
  • Review and approve all documentation, component specifications and internal technical procedures.
  • Identify and communicate technical scope growth, specification creep and variations.

KEY SKILLS

As a Principal Power Electronics Engineer you will need a degree or higher in Electronic Engineering, demonstrable experience in design and test of Power Electronic Converters (AC:AC, DC:DC, DC:AC) and/or Motor Drives and be able to demonstrate experience in using simulation tools including PLECS and/or Matlab/Simulink.

You will also need a good knowledge of Power Electronics Design, Analogue and Systems Engineering, Digital Electronics, System Simulation, Embedded Systems and Control Engineering. Knowledge of EMC standards and mitigation through design. Good communication and presentation skills, written and oral are also essential as is the ability to liaise with customers and suppliers as well as other internal functions within the company.

DESIRABLE SKILLS

Ideally you will also have a knowledge of microprocessor control, software development, thermal design and specification of electromagnetic assemblies. Proven managerial and leadership skills i.e. experienced in managing day to day running of a team of 3-6 multi-disciplined engineers.

A Post graduate qualification in Electronic Engineering (M.Eng or PhD) qualification would be an advantage as would IET membership or Chartered Engineer status.

Electronics Test Technician

An experienced Electronics Test Technician is needed by a company in the Newcastle area

Working in a busy manufacturing environment you will perform tests one electronics circuits, components and products based on set procedures and recommendation for improvements in the efficiency of testing. You will also

  • Fault find down to component level aided with circuit diagrams.
  • Assist team members with fault finding and the development of new products.
  • Maintain test equipment used to interface product under test.
  • Maintain an awareness of all company products and development.
  • Adhere to all quality standards e.g. Failure reporting systems.
  • Design and build test equipment required to improve testing efficiency

The successful candidate will ideally have a HNC in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or equivalent and be experienced at using general test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, function generators and current meters)

You will need experience of fault-finding down to component level, an understanding of digital & analogue electronics, experience using Microsoft products and the ability to communicate with staff at all levels

Electronics Test & Repair Technician

An Electronics Test Technician is needed by a growing manufacturing company near Horsham

Key duties will include

  • Testing, fault finding and repair of high voltage power supplies.
  • Completion of test reports and documentation in accordance with customer requirements and in line with the Quality Management System standards.
  • Upgrading and modification of assemblies and finished product. Interpretation and implementation of changes to assemblies and finished product in accordance with documentation.
  • Identifying product quality and performance issues and raising appropriate non-conformances. Liaising with Design Engineering, Test Equipment Design and Sales in support of meeting customer requirements and finished product quality and performance.
  • Keep informed and support the Company ISO14001 Environmental Management System and ISO9001 Quality Management System and improvement team activities including seeking new ‘green’ opportunities and suggestions on how the business can improve.
  • Responsibility for adhering to the Company’s ISO 9001 Quality, ISO14001 Environmental and Health and Safety management systems.

As an Electronics Test Technician you will need the following skills and personal qualities: –

  • Ability to test product by following test procedures accurately and meeting standard times.
  • Ability to use test equipment such as oscilloscopes, function generators, digital power supplies and multi meters.
  • Experience in high voltage test methods. Experience in soldering and rework methods to IPC standards.
  • Experience working in a lean manufacturing facility. Competent in MS Office.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Repair and diagnostic fault finding experience to component level. HNC in Electrical/Electronics Engineering desirable.
  • Knowledge of high voltage test methods a distinct advantage
