  1. Key Features
  • Creating and implementing an annual Marketing Plan. Using historical sales data, future intentions, and our current product portfolio to inform the plan
  • Working with the Group Marketing function to overlay group activity into the TCS and PCC annual marketing plan to ensure there is a consistent approach throughout the year with no conflictions
  • Creating and ongoing publishing of Sales Reports to understand our sales conversion data, marketing conversion data and our product and sector penetration (and subsequent opportunity)
  • Working closely with the Business Development Team, providing monthly campaigns with accompanying campaign brief, follow up contact lists and results analysis from each campaign
  • Effectively planning and managing multiple projects across a portfolio of businesses from initial brief through to project completion. The job holder must be able to meet deadlines on time and on budget to help achieve the department and organization’s goals
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to understand the Company’s offering, customer needs and market trends
  • Maintaining the website: assist with keeping the website(s) up to date with relevant content, ensuring the Company’s message resonates with the target audience
  • Arranging meetings and liaising with other departments and businesses to understand marketing requirements and strategic objectives. Maintaining regular contact with the wider marketing team to support, align and seamlessly coordinate marketing efforts
  • Contributing with creative ideas, converting briefs into actionable tasks, and supporting the design team with material creation
  • Liaising with external digital agencies, printers and merchandise suppliers where appropriate to source, prepare and distribute marketing materials

What you will be doing:

As part of the ‘systems’ team, responsible for consumer PC (e.g. gaming and commercial (e.g. Business, Education) laptops, desktop and all-in-ones, you will be responsible for the development and execution of all channel marketing initiatives within tier 2 resellers and distribution.

The focus of the role is to create industry leading marketing campaigns that raise awareness and create interest for IT solutions within the education sector, SMB and enterprise resellers and also B2B corporate end users.

Responsibilities:

* Create and execute quarterly marketing plans with resellers and distributors, working internally with the respective account managers to align with their product line-up and needs.
* Develop strong account relationships with both buyers and marketers.
* Ensure accurate budget management and administration, including internal and external proof of execution (POE) reporting for any financially supporting vendors (e.g. Intel, Microsoft etc.)
* Provide creative briefs to the internal creative team and/or fulfilling various creative requirements via the Adobe Creative suite.
* Provide all product detail content to support the creation of product detail pages, online brand stores and any additional rich-media (A+).
* Co-ordinate and fulfil marketing requirements of any channel-led events, including event kit production, merchandise and promotion.
* Align regularly with the marketing leads across consumer PC, gaming and commercial on the latest brand messages.
* Quarterly reporting at various stakeholder levels

Who we are looking for

* At least 4 years professional working experience
* At least 2 years channel marketing experience
* Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
* Capable of Adobe Photoshop / Indesign editing

I am currently recruiting for a Digital Marketing Manager for my Telford based client.

Salary £35k – £40k depending on experience

8.30am – 5pm Monday to Friday

Responsibilities

  • Develop and improve the digital marketing systems to end-users
  • Generate and implement concepts for online marketing activities, run experiments, build processes and implement tools to optimise the lead generation and paid advertising
  • Utilise different SEM campaign types in a co-ordinated and cost-effective manner
  • Co-operate with marketing support functions across other business areas, to further improve local activities and exchange best practice
  • Monitor KPIs and report the results internally
  • Monitor new developments and competitors in our markets

Skills and experience

  • An experienced Digital Marketing Manager who has a proven record of growing overall business, not just digital revenue, within a similar B2C business
  • Degree in Marketing, Management, eCommerce, Business, or similar
  • Experience in lead management: generation, nurturing and conversion, e.g. with Salesforce
  • Experience with search advertising campaigns, landing page optimisation and social media marketing
  • A track record of success in SEO and experience with content marketing
  • Ownership of AB testing and other CRO tasks. Previous use of VWO is a plus
  • Strong capability for tracking and analysing, e.g. using Google Analytics
  • Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice
  • Ability to create new & sustainable operating models to shape future business
  • Ability to tackle the demands of ever-evolving technological implements with ease
  • Strong team player committed to put the team first
