Are you an experienced registered service manager looking for your next challenge and would like to join a dedicated team in our residential service?

We are looking for an exceptional and experienced Register manager who is motivational, inspiring and passionate about their role.

We specialise in providing support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health and complex needs requiring a high standard of specialised, person-centred care.

We firmly believe that our staff are central to helping us achieve this, which is why we fully invest in comprehensive training and development of all staff. You will be supported by the Senior Management Team in the role and provided with regular coaching and supervisions.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the day to day running of a ten bedded service, including line management and ongoing development of employees

Build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders, including but not limited to local authorities, families, internal/external contacts and the community

Ensure our service’s standards are high, in line with current legislation, meeting CQC requirements and other regulative quality and compliance benchmarks

Provide leadership, management and support to your team and the wider group

Seek opportunities to promote business growth and continually look to improve existing services, ensuring issues are identified and resolved promptly.

We Require

Minimum Level 5 in Health and Social Care (or clinical qualification such as qualified Learning Disability Nurse) or equivalent

A minimum of three years’ experience of working at management level

as a Registered Manager ideally from a service for individuals with learning disabilities

Excellent knowledge of regulatory responsibilities and willingness to undertake the Registered Manager application process with CQC.

Caring and compassionate towards people in need of care and support

Ability to manage and develop an effective team including recruitment, training, supporting and supervising team members

Working knowledge of legislation relating specifically to CQC outcomes regulations and standards

Thorough understanding and the ability to effectively follow safeguarding processes

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

IT literate

A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check at an enhanced level

Full driving licence
