Working on behalf of a growing FMCG business BPSS are looking for a Continuous Improvement Manager to look after 2 sites based in the North West.

Key responsibilities :

  • We are looking for a senior CI leader who will build strong relationships and influence operational teams to deliver CI programmes
  • Must be commercially focused to deliver site CI Cost saving targets via ops teams and external support as required
  • Project management – you will be working on a range of projects across the site at agreed frequencies and targets
  • Set the agenda for and manage Continuous Improvement across the site

Skills & Experience

  • Lean Sigma black belt (green belt would be considered as well)
  • Experience of supporting multiple sites
  • Experience of managing multiple projects
  • Experience of developing people

Your role of an Optometrist involves

  • Analysing diagnostics
  • Discussing the surgery process with patients and expected outcomes
  • Ensuring patients understand all the facts and risks
  • Taking time to answer all our patient questions
  • Providing reassurance around the patient journey
  • Letting the patients know the visual outcome of surgery
  • Listening to how surgery has improved our patients’ lives and find out all the wonderful things they are able to see (and do) again

Details and requirements

  • 5 hours a week over 5 days (part time may be considered)
  • No evenings and only 1 in 4 Saturdays
  • Proven post-registration experience of at least 12 months is essential for this role
  • Eligibility to work in the UK and GOC Registered

Salary and benefits

  • Up to £60,000 + bonus
  • 25 days holiday (excluding bank holidays) increasing with length of service
  • Paid professional fees
