  • Full and part time considered (3 – 5 days a week: no weekends)
  • Working hours (9:00am – 17:00pm)
  • Ability to work with others as well as autonomously is essential
  • Qualified Audiologist/Hearing Aid Dispenser Essential

Logistics Administrator

K&D are delighted to be supporting our local client based in Aylesbury who are looking for a Customs Clerk!! Our client specialises in highly regulated and controlled goods, continuing to grow since 2014 they are now excited to be able to bring an additional person into their business !!

What you will need?

The client is flexible. Someone who has some basic import / export experience would be considered, as would someone who has a number of year’s experience. Providing you have a solid attitude to learn and grow and have previously worked in a customer facing environment, then you will be of interest as training will be provided.

As Customs Clerk you will be responsible for the following duties; issuing the correct documents on behalf of the customer to ensure that customs are cleared, liaison with customers, suppliers, government agencies and freight forwarders to prepare and process custom clearances, ensuring that invoices and shipping manifests confirm to tariff and custom regulations.

The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines is essential. You will also need to be someone that can take ownership of tasks and think on your feet.

In return the client offers a salary between £24-26k dependant on experience. The role is office based but the client offers flexible hours.

Class 2 Driver

Great opportunity for an experienced Class 2 driver to join our client based just a few miles away from Aylesbury and within twenty minutes of High Wycombe and Oxford.

What is in it for you? As a Class 2 Driver you will be contracted to 42.5 hours per week, plus overtime, on average an additional 10 hours per week which the client’s needs you to work so good weekly pay on offer!!

The salary will be £14 per hour depending on experience and time served as a class 2 driver, mostly London and South, South East driving, would ideally suit someone who has knowledge of the City.

With overtime the weekly wage will be between £630-£680 per week annually for a class 2 driver around the £34k mark.

Salary review normally takes place after a successful probation period and a number of training courses to support you in your new position as a class 2 driver.

You will also receive 22 days holiday + bank holidays, and a generous 4%/4% Employer/Employee Contribution Pension Scheme.

Is this the right job for you? You will need to hold a clean, current HGV driving license, a digital tachograph card, completed driver CPC. Class 2 Driver.

If you have driving licence category C+E these are advantageous. Exceptional people/communication skills required( you will be driving onto busy construction sites where clear communication is critical ) plus good numeracy and literacy skills ( updating important documents )

Duties may include assembly work, working with metalwork, pipework and electrics and you will follow instructional drawings.

They may include spray laminating, using spray guns OR you will be responsible for manufacturing activities including carrying out moulding and de-moulding processes.

These are permanent full time opportunities 40 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 2pm – Midnight.

The starting salary is £26,562, there is also a clear development plan which offers salary increases at each level you reach, up to £32K which you can achieve after 12 months service!!

Purpose of Job

To inspect, prepare and clean vehicles to the company’s standard. Collect/deliver new vehicles, other drivers, documents and parts. You will be required to carry out small mechanical jobs such as mirror glass replacing and general yard maintenance. Full training will be given on all tasks.
