We are looking to hire Production Operatives for our client based in Derby. Your role will be crucial in contributing to the operation of their product production. The position demands physical agility, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to ensure a seamless production process
Job Duties:
- Safely transport and handle honey products within the factory premises.
- Utilize equipment such as trolleys or pallet jacks for efficient movement. Lift and move honey products, containers, and equipment weighing over 10kg with ease.
- Follow proper lifting techniques to ensure personal safety and product integrity.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks to maintain a sanitary production environment.
- Engage in deep cleaning activities, ensuring high hygiene standards are consistently met.
- Inspect products for quality and report any deviations from standards.
- Be willing to adapt to different tasks within the production process as required.
- Learn and cross-train on various production tasks to enhance flexibility.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to create a secure work environment. Reporting any safety concerns or incidents promptly.
- Must be physically fit and capable of handling repetitive tasks, including heavy lifting.
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Possess a good level of English for effective communication with team members and supervisors
- Reliable transportation to the location is essential.
- Approach tasks with a positive and proactive mindset, contributing to a collaborative work culture
- Maintain flexibility in working hours to accommodate extended shifts as needed
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals.
Shift Pattern:
- Monday – Friday
- £11.44 Per Hour
- 09:00-17:00 – Must be flexible
- Overtime avaliable
