Working Hours: Dayshift

What will you be doing:

  • To deliver our clients product in a timely manner as per run schedule.
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed as per company policy.
  • 12 hour shifts on a 4on/4 off basis
  • Observe and adhere to company rules and procedures, including all aspects of health, safety and hygiene.
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed and signed by the relevant parties.
  • Any other duties which may be asked of you.

To be compliant you must have the following-

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Van driver experience (Minimum 1 years)
  • maximum 6 points (No DR, DD or IN codes)

Customer Service Advisor – Edinburgh

Major Recruitment are looking for Customer Service Advisors to join a car rental company at Edinburgh Airport.

The Role

This role will be a full time role of 48 hours, 7 days a week from Monday to Sunday with 2 days off, to support our customers and its network of branches across the UK.

The role is very varied within a team that is highly motivated to achieve its aims, we are at critical point in growth cycle and are looking for individuals who want to excel in their chosen field all the support that is required for this is on hand provided through training and mentorship.

Main Duties

  • Taking calls from internal and external customers
  • Maintain the Drivalia system with up-to-date hire status
  • Provide Branches with information to enable informative decisions on hiring
  • Handling and forwarding issues to the appropriate team
  • Responsibility for handling vehicle breakdowns during hire
  • Raising charges when required
  • Ordering supplies for branches
  • Reporting significant Issues
  • Ability to work under pressure and in autonomy
  • Any other tasks as required.

Qualifications / Experience

  • The ideal candidate will be confident, organised, analytical and have excellent customer service & communication skills both written and telephony
  • PC literate
  • An interest in or knowledge of cars/vehicles would benefit
  • Fluency in more than one language (in additional to excellent English) would be advantageous

Hours – 48 hours a week, 5 days a week
