Export Documentation Experience Essential

A fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution business as an Export Sales Administrator.

This is a hands-on role focused on export order processing, customer communication, transport coordination and export documentation. You’ll work closely with customers, manufacturing, dispatch and logistics teams to ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities:

* Process and manage export sales orders from receipt through to dispatch
* Prepare and manage all required export documentation for international shipments
* Arrange transport and liaise with hauliers, carriers and customers
* Keep customers updated on order progress, delivery dates and any changes
* Work closely with manufacturing and dispatch to ensure orders are produced and dispatched on time
* Ensure all shipping and SDS documentation is accurate and available when required
* Process export orders and maintain accurate information on the internal ERP/Sage system
* Provide quotations and respond to customer queries and requests
* Maintain accurate records and ensure export documentation is filed correctly
* Support the wider sales and operations teams as required

Requirements:

* Previous export administration / export documentation experience is essential
* Strong understanding of international shipping and export processes
* Experience arranging transport and working with hauliers/carriers
* Experience within manufacturing, distribution, logistics or a similar environment
* Confident communicating with B2B customers, ideally internationally
* Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* Experience using ERP systems, ideally Sage
* Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
* Able to manage multiple orders and priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Proactive, reliable and able to resolve issues quickly

Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer

A Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer is sought by an Engineering company in the Cheltenham / Gloucester area.

Among your responsibilities will be managing and optimizing the company’s IT infrastructure, and ensuring that the infrastructure is secure, scalable, and aligned with business needs. You will also lead infrastructure projects, contributing to high availability, security, and resilience and engage with vendors to evaluate new technology solutions, manage relationships, and ensure that service levels are met according to contracts.

You will also oversee the design, implementation, and ongoing support of IT infrastructure, : lead infrastructure projects such as system migrations, technology rollouts, and network enhancements, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, & budget and implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures and ensure compliance with industry standards like ISO 27001, GDPR, and Cyber Essentials.

Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity is also a vital; part of the role as you will own the development and execution of disaster recovery plans and business continuity strategies, oversee failover testing and ensure that the organisation can maintain operations during emergencies. You will also continuously monitor infrastructure performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement proactive solutions to minimize downtime and ensure system efficiency.

KEY SKILLS

The company are looking for someone with the following skills, experience and personal qualities: –

  • Advanced knowledge of network architecture, server infrastructure, virtualization technologies, and cloud platforms (Azure).
  • In-depth understanding of security protocols and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, GDPR, and Cyber Essentials, with experience in implementing and auditing secure infrastructure.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple infrastructure projects concurrently, demonstrating strong planning, execution, and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, capable of diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues quickly and effectively.
  • Experience of mentoring and guiding junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with global IT teams, senior management, and vendors.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Fortinet Certification, or equivalent) are a plus.

IMMEDIATE STARTS AVAILABLE – CLASS 2 DRIVERS

Major Recruitment are currently looking to recruit Class 2 Drivers for an industry leading recycling business based in Yate, Bristol (South Gloucestershire).

You will be driving residential areas collecting recycling with a 3 man team. 8 mile radius routes. Ongoing work 5-6 days per week.

  • Class 2 Drivers Required for Yate

06.45 start to Finish- Guaranteed 8 hours a day.

£22 an hour

Saturday Overtime Rate – £25.50 (OPTIONAL)

NO SUNDAY

Standard Shift is Monday to Friday.

  • Crew consist of Driver and two loaders
  • Residential
  • £2k signing on bonus after 6 months completed with the client.
  • Free uniform provided – Just must have safety boots.
  • One day induction- classroom based and driving assessment.
