Hamilton Woods Associates are currently working on behalf of a not-for-profit organisation, who are recruiting for a Senior Housing Support Officer to work within their hostel-based services for young people aged 16- 25 years.

The role will require shift working either 8:30am- 4pm or 2pm-10pm across Monday – Friday. Some weekend working will be required.

The successful postholder will be responsible for the supervision of a team of 5, comprised of Housing Support Officers and Night Support Workers.

Responsibilities of the Senior Housing Support Officer:

  • Delivering a high-quality support service to young people aged 16-25 years living within a hostel based setting
  • Managing a small caseload of clients
  • Supervising a team of 5 staff members
  • Ensuring staff rotas are updated and covered in times of absence
  • Maintaining and monitoring policies and procedures within the team
  • Supporting colleagues within the team through training and coaching
  • Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with external working partners

Essential Criteria of the Senior Housing Support Officer:

  • Experience in supported housing or accommodation-based services.
  • Experience working within a supervisory / team leader capacity within a similar environment
  • Ability to work flexibly across sites, including evenings and weekends.

Machine Operative Support

We are currently recruiting for 1 Machine Operative Support to join our client team at the Seelent Company in Heckmondwike.

Shift Pattern

Monday to Thursday

1:30pm – 10:00pm

Work 34 hours per week

Paid for 38 hours

The Role:

You will be supporting the Machine Operator with the day-to-day running of the production line, helping to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Duties Include

Assisting the Machine Operator

Loading and unloading materials

Maintaining a clean and safe work area

Following health and safety procedures

Supporting production targets
