Goods In/FLT Operative

Due to expansion our client is looking for an experienced Goods In/ FLT Operator that will play a crucial role in our Client’s operations by ensuring the smooth and efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.

Responsibilities of a Goods In/FLT Operative will include:

  • Oversee loading and unloading of goods from trucks or other conveyances
  • Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods
  • Unpack, code and route goods to appropriate storage areas
  • Maintain internal, manual or computerized record-keeping systems
  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
  • Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
  • Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
  • Complete diary logs into inventory
  • Report any discrepancies

Requirements of a Goods In/FLT Operative include:

  • Proven experience as a Stores Person, Warehouse Operator, or similar role.
  • Valid FLT licenses, both CB and Reach.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording inventory data.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

Cleaners are expected to fulfil certain duties and responsibilities. These duties include but are not limited to:
