They currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Assistant to join their dynamic team.
Job Description for the Supply Chain Assistant:
As a Supply Chain Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth and efficient operation of our supply chain processes.
You will work closely with the supply chain team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products, manage inventory levels, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers.
Key Responsibilities for the Supply Chain Assistant:
- Assist in the coordination and management of the supply chain processes from procurement to delivery.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
- Support the procurement team in sourcing and purchasing materials and services.
- Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Prepare and process purchase orders and invoices.
- Track and report on key supply chain metrics and performance indicators.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including production, logistics, and sales, to optimize the supply chain operations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of supply chain strategies and improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and health and safety standards.
Qualifications and Skills for the Supply Chain Assistant:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a supply chain or logistics role is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
- Knowledge of supply chain software and tools is a plus.
