Major Recruitment are currently seeking warehouse operatives for our client based in the Liversedge area.

Due to continued growth and expansion our client is now looking to strengthen their warehouse and distribution team.

Main Duties will include.

  • Picking items from the end of the line
  • Line feeding
  • Boxing and palletising
  • Quality checking
  • Adhering to all health & safety procedures
  • Picking and packing
  • Using Pump pallet trucks
  • Any other duties as and when required

Must have some recent warehouse work experience

Upholsterer

Major Recruitment are currently seeking upholsterers for our prestigious client based in West Yorkshire. Due to continued growth and expansion our client is now seeking to strengthen their team of upholsterers

Responsibilities:
– Measure and cut fabric using a caliper for precise dimensions
– Build and assemble upholstered furniture pieces according to design specifications
– Operate heavy machinery and equipment such as sewing machines and machining tools
– Lift and move heavy furniture pieces for upholstery work
– Work in a warehouse or workshop environment to complete upholstery projects
– Sew fabric pieces together using a sewing machine
– Ensure proper alignment and fit of fabric on furniture frames
– Use garment construction techniques to create tailored upholstery pieces

Experience:
– Previous experience as an upholsterer or in a related field is preferred
– Knowledge of millwork and woodworking techniques is a plus
– Familiarity with machining tools and equipment is beneficial
