As an Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Installation engineer you will be responsible for working with their new and current clients working on systems including: VRV/VRF/Splits and Refrigeration systems including: Bottle coolers, display fridge/freezers.

As an installation engineer you will have:

– FGAS CAT 1 – OR – NVQ Level 2 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
– Previous experience in a similar role
– Full UK Driving Licence

As an experienced Refrigeration engineer you will be responsible for service/maintenance, diagnostic and repair of Refrigeration systems including: Ice machines, display cabinets, walk in fridge/freezers to name a few.

As an experienced Refrigeration Engineer ideally you will have:

Trade Plate Driver

We at Major Logistics have some fantastic opportunities for Car Delivery and Collection/Trade Plate Drivers to start immediately

These are self employed roles and you will be working on behalf of one of the UK’s fastest growing vehicle delivery companies, whose specialism is the movement of vehicles between dealership locations or direct to customers across the UK.

These roles are advertised to start immediately

Experienced car delivery/trade plate drivers are preferred, for this role

however some commercial driving experience is necessary

Full training will be given

About you:

  • You will have a passion for driving, this is paramount
  • You must be able to work under your own initiative and take instruction as required
  • Held your Full UK Driving license for a minimum of 3 years
  • Computer literacy is important
  • You will be organised and able to plan your day
  • You will possess a good geographical knowledge of the UK and Ireland
  • Posses excellent communication skills are essential
  • Excellent customer service skills are also key, this is not just a driving role, excellent customer service is the critical element in what you do
  • A good attention to detail
  • Must be of smart appearance
  • You will be confident and able to use public transport
  • Ideally you will have a DBS in place, however this can be actioned as part of the on-boarding process
  • You will be ok working in a Self Employed capacity

You must understand this is not a 9-5, Monday to Friday role 9-5, there will be early starts as you must be at your first delivery by 08:30am, there are no exceptions to this and you will be required to plan your journey accordingly

You will have off-road parking(driveway) or a designated parking bay, road parking is not allowed

No more than 6 points/endorsements allowed for minor offences,

Due to the insurance criteria on this role, applicants must have experience driving within a professional or commercial capacity

Responsibilities

As a registered Home Manager, you will implement and work in accordance with all aspects of the Statement of Purpose for your home and have a thorough understanding of the regulations and legislation which set the standards within a Children’s Home setting.

You will be an effective partnership builder, working with parents, carers, and other professionals to safeguard and promote the welfare of young people. You will support and offer supervision to staff in line with regulations and ensure that the safeguarding of young people remains at the forefront of practice, and young people remain consulted about the quality of care they receive.

Requirements

You must have recent experience working within the residential sector at registered manager level within a children’s residential service.

A Certified Diploma Level 3 or 4 in Residential Childcare (Children and Young Peoples Workforce) or equivalent as a minimum

Thorough understanding of the regulations and legislation which set the standards within a Children’s Home setting.

Ability to work closely with Responsible Individual and key individuals within the strategic partnership.

Substantive experience in a Managerial role including supervisory experience.

A Certified Diploma Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification or equivalent, or a willingness to work towards completing this.

Experience in leading and supervising a team within a Residential Childcare setting.

Full UK Manual Driving Licence
