The Opportunity

We are working with a well-established and growing organisation within the manufacturing and food production sector, seeking to appoint a driven and detail-oriented Management Accountant.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced operational environment where finance plays a key role in driving performance, supporting production, and influencing commercial decision-making.

The Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will take ownership of financial reporting, analysis, and performance insight across the business. You will play a critical role in understanding financial performance, identifying variances, and supporting operational teams with meaningful data.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and analysing P&L and balance sheet reports
  • Delivering accurate and timely weekly and monthly financial reporting
  • Producing variance analysis against budgets, forecasts, and standard costs
  • Supporting and developing cost models, including labour and material variances
  • Preparing monthly management accounts, including journals, accruals, and prepayments
  • Completing balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining the fixed asset register
  • Supporting forecasting and short-term financial planning
  • Assisting with audit preparation and financial compliance requirements
  • Reviewing and supporting transactional finance processes (e.g. bank recs, purchase ledger)
  • Producing ad hoc financial analysis to support business decision-making

About You

You will be a proactive and analytical finance professional who enjoys working closely with operational teams in a dynamic environment.

You are likely to have:

  • AAT Level 4 (or equivalent) or be working towards a professional qualification
  • At least 2 years’ experience in an accounting or finance role
  • Experience within a manufacturing or production environment (highly desirable)
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
  • A solid understanding of finance processes and reporting
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

Class 2 Temp to Perm role

We are looking for a class 2 driver for our client based near Manchester Airport

Working Monday to Friday 07 am starts, overtime and weekend available

You will be driving a class 2 truck with curtains, helping loading and unloading when required, pulling curtains and securing the loads, all stock on pallets – mostly you will get load unload on the sites, however there can be occasion when you will use pump truck.

You will make sure all paperwork is signed and cargo is checked,

You will report any delays, or issues with collection/ deliveries back to transport office.

You will check your truck before leaving every day and when you back.

This is stable role for a candidate who is looking for a great company to build a career with

Our customer in return is offering

£32.032 PA plus overtime after 50 hours
