Overview

We are currently recruiting for 2 experienced Industrial Paint Sprayers to join a busy engineering facility based in Manchester. This is a great opportunity for candidates with strong industrial painting experience to secure a long-term contract role with consistent hours and structured shifts.


Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out surface preparation including masking and sanding
  • Apply coatings using 2-pack spray paint systems (undercoats and topcoats)
  • Ensure all coatings meet required quality and customer specifications
  • Clean and maintain paint shop equipment (paint guns, air lines, paint pots, etc.)
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with HSE standards
  • Handle and dispose of materials and hazardous waste correctly
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and team activities
  • Carry out general maintenance and housekeeping within the paint shop

Shift Pattern

Rotating shifts (Days & Lates – no night shifts):

  • Monday to Thursday: 06:00 – 14:00 | Friday: 06:00 – 12:00
  • Monday to Friday: 14:00 – 22:00 | Friday: 12:00 – 18:00

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Industrial Paint Sprayer
  • Experience using 2-pack spray painting systems
  • Background in an engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of HSE and PPE requirements
  • Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines

Desirable

  • NVQ Level 3 in Industrial Paint Occupations
  • Experience operating overhead cranes
  • 3-5 years’ experience within an engineering environment

Hydraulic Fitter

Hydraulic Attachments Fitter – Manchester
£34,000 – £37,000 per annum + On-Site Work Van (business use only)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Hydraulic Attachments Fitter to join a busy and expanding operation in Manchester. This is a practical, field-based and workshop-supported role suited to someone who enjoys variety, problem solving and working with heavy plant or construction equipment.

The position involves fitting, servicing and repairing hydraulic attachments, along with delivering and collecting equipment and safely attaching or removing attachments on customer sites.

The Role

  • Deliver and collect machinery and attachments to and from customer sites
  • Fit, remove and assemble hydraulic attachments on a range of plant equipment
  • Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDI) to ensure machines and attachments are safe and operational
  • Diagnose hydraulic faults and complete repairs in a timely manner
  • Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance
  • Complete job sheets and maintain accurate service and parts records
  • Work alongside technical teams to improve equipment performance where required
  • Follow all company health & safety procedures at all times

About You

  • Hands-on experience working with hydraulics and mechanical fitting
  • Confident reading technical drawings and hydraulic schematics
  • Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting ability
  • Reliable, self-motivated and able to manage workload independently
  • Good communication and customer-facing skills
  • Full UK driving licence is essential

Advantageous but Not Essential

  • Experience with plant, agricultural or construction machinery
  • Relevant hydraulic or mechanical qualifications/certifications

Working Environment

  • Split between workshop duties and on-site field work
  • Physical role involving lifting and manual handling
  • Occasional overtime and travel depending on workload

Duties of the Supported Housing Administrator role will include, but is not limited to:

  • Supporting the completion of needs and risk assessments for new applicants and assisting with customer inductions.
