Installation Operatives

Major Recruitment are currently recruiting a number of Installation Operatives for our client based in Ashton in Makerfield- will be based here for a week for training max 2 weeks. Then their base will be nr Etihad Stadium

Salary: £11.44ph but will increase after 12 weeks training has been passed.

Duties of the role will include;

  • Driving Company vehicles
  • Travel around the UK
  • Installing medical devices in customer homes/Care homes/ Hospitals
  • Repairing and servicing of medical devices

Hours for the role will typically be Monday to Friday 0830-1700, although once fully trained overtime may be available at enhanced rates.

You will need a full clean UK driving license for this role. A clean DBS is required for this role.

We are currently working on behalf of a public sector client to recruit to a Roofer on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities of the Roofer includes:

  • Completing all aspects of roofing work including general repairs, maintenance and refurbishment
  • Working on large scale pitched roofs, flat roofs and chimney stack demolitions
  • Completing gutter and soffit works when required
  • Measuring and inspecting repairs
  • Ensuring adherence to health and safety
  • Identifying asbestos
  • Ordering appropriate materials
  • Utilising a PDA
  • Carrying out multi skilled work when required

Requirements of the Roofer includes:

  • UK Driving License
  • Formal qualification within roofing or extensive experience

  • CSCS Card
  • Previous experience as a roofers mate (desirable)
  • Knowledge and experience of working at heights (essential)

Hamilton Woods Associates are currently working with a public sector organisation to recruit for a temporary- permanent Multi Skilled Plasterer to work across void and tenanted properties.

Responsibilities of the Multi Skilled Plasterer includes:

  • Working on tenanted social housing properties completing reactive repairs
  • Delivering plastering work and associated making good across the organisations housing stock
  • Completing multi-skilled repairs where necessary
  • Utilising a PDA
  • Measuring and inspecting repairs, and ordering appropriate materials
  • Ensuring adherence to health and safety procedures
  • Maintaining van stock

Essential criteria of the Multi Skilled Plasterer includes:

  • Minimum of NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Plastering
  • Full UK Driving License
