Vehicle Technician / Mot Tester

We are looking for a experienced motor trade technician / mot tester for our Liverpool Branch

You will need to have a level 3 or equivalent certification. Full Uk driving licence preferably clean but definitely with no previous bans. Own tools.

You will have Local service centre / privately owned garage or main dealer experience. Experience of replacing clutches and cambelts a good all rounder and must be a team player.

Able to work on own initiative but not afraid to ask for help.

5 DAY WEEK INCLUDING SATURDAYS WITH A DAY OFF IN THE WEEK

Instrument Technician – Field Based

An experienced Instrument Technician is sought by an engineering company in the Liverpool area

Working on various customer sites your main responsibilities will include: –

  • Carry out diagnosis and correction of instrumentation, electronic and control issues related to both process and facilities equipment
  • Carry out calibration and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems
  • Accountable for maintaining, documenting service and maintenance work
  • On completion of engineering tasks, work status, including the root cause of the problem and any outstanding issues are to be feedback to the client and Service Manager

The successful candidate will either be HNC qualified or have served a recognized apprenticeship in Control and Instrument Engineering. You will need to able to read and interpret relevant engineering drawings, related specifications, quality standards and equipment manuals, and to follow work instructions and relevant plans and schedules. Good diagnosis and fault-finding skills relating to instruments and PLCs are essential. A Full UK Driving Licence is essential

Compex Certification would be a strong advantage

This is a field based role covering sites throughout the UK and some overnight stays will be required. A company vehicle is also provided.

Major Recruitment are currently looking to recruit a Laboratory Industrial Cleaner to work for its client based within Aintree Area with immediate effect.

Due to the very specialised nature of the working environment the ideal candidate will have had experience in cleaning in laboratory setting previously, with an excellent eye for detail.

The main responsibilities of the Laboratory Industrial Cleaner role will be but are not limited to:

  • To adhere to a cleaning schedule in all areas of a designated Unit
  • Check all appropriate safety and access equipment prior to use following guidelines and training
  • To ensure all items that require cleaning are cleaned using appropriate solutions, tools and methods
  • To restock cleaning items as needed
  • To report all issues to the Designated Unit Lab Manager and the Health and Safety Officer as required
  • To follow all health and safety guidelines, including but not limited to wearing greys in appropriate areas, removing all contaminated clothing before exiting the unit, taking a decontamination shower before leaving for the day, etc.
  • Adhere to all company procedures, site rules and regulations.

Ideal candidate for Laboratory Cleaner role will have:

  • A keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work to at hight
  • Experience and understanding of COSHH regulations
  • Be experienced in working in an industrial laboratory

Pay rate will be £9.50
